Ingredients

  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  • 1/4-1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 1/4 cup white sugar

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 1/4 cups crisp rice cereal

  • 1 cup chopped almonds

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup raisins

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 350°F.

  • Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray.

  • In a bowl, beat the brown sugar, white sugar, and butter until combined. Mix in the honey, vanilla, and egg.

  • In smaller bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.

  • Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter and sugar mixture. Beat until thoroughly combined.

  • Stir in the almonds, chocolate chips, oats, and raisins by hand.

  • Pour into the greased pan and press firmly to flatten. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Let cool and cut into 16 squares.
