Ingredients

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, pat dry with paper towels

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1/2-1 teaspoon fresh or ground ginger

  • 1/2-1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  • Slice the chicken breast into bite size portions or strips.

  • Spray cooking spray over a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Cook the chicken for about 6 minutes or until no longer pink. Combine the honey, soy sauce, corn starch, ginger, and red pepper flakes and whisk until smooth.

  • Mix the sauce in the skillet and heat until the sauce marginally thickens. If necessary, use water to balance out the sauce if it thickens too much.

  • Add the sesame seeds, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.
