Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti pasta

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed

  • 6-8 garlic cloves, minced

  • Olive oil, 3 drizzles

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Boil the pasta in water until tender; save 1 cup of pasta water for use later. Drain and set aside.

  • Melt the butter over medium heat, then add the shrimp and garlic. Let the shrimp cook until slightly pink and it beginning to curl, about 5-7 minutes.

  • Add the olive oil and continue to cook until the shrimp is fully pink and curled.

  • Add the pasta, Italian seasoning, red pepper, and black pepper to the skillet with enough pasta water for desired consistency.

  • Toss the ingredients t until all are incorporated and hot. Serve immediately.
