Eat healthier - All Thoughts

I have started following the Weight Watchers Program and have lost 18 pounds in the past three weeks. Think I'll try to stay on this one. It's easy and it works.\nMy goal is to get down to 150 pounds by August 26, 2011 when my youngest daughter will be getting married.

I love to eat and its so hard to love stuff like carrots instead of cheetos they are both orange right. Choosing a salad over a yummy cheeseburger is so hard. I need advice support well anything. Has anyone found great healthy foods that taste yummy too.

I know that it is crazy to use only non-toxic products and still eat unhealthy food. It's a serious contradiction but switching products is so much easier than changing your taste buds. :) I actually like veggie burgers and salads but I also love Italian food (which is not the healthiest but is definitely the tastiest) and Mexican so it is a slow moving process. But I am trying my best. (most days)

Thermic vegetables are specially selected vegetables that promote rapid weight loss and increase the thermogenic (fat-burning) process. You may eat an unlimited quantity of these thermic vegetables because they consume more calories than they contain.

Yes we are always on the go with the kids\ntrying to hurry and make the most of are day dropping kids at school head to work and we never seem to remember about our self that we need a lunch too so we often go to a drive through to pick up what a hamburger or some people run on coffee and donuts all day.\nI in the other hand have started looking for easy recipes that i could do the night before something light easy to make and delicious too, because if it doesn't taste good chances are you are not going to stick to a healthy eating habit there's many recipes on line.\nRemember eat small portions more often drink lot's of water and don't eat after 6pm. I just started and plan to track my weight loss goal. Don't give up

New lifestyle, New You! - 0 seconds ago \nTransitions is a plan that is still working for me. it is an extensive plan that covers everything you'll need to loose the weight and keep it off, not just a set of foods you can or cannot eat. In fact, a big part of the Transitions Lifestyle is helping you make healthy choices while still eating a normal, diverse diet. This is my second time trying this new lifestyle of eating, the first time it went right over my head.Like they said first you don't succeed try and try again. in 3 months I was able to lose 15 pounds, 3.6% body fat and 2.25 inches from my waist and hips. In the first six weeks of the program, I lost 2 dress sizes. Today I wear size 14 pants and when I started the program I was wearing a size 18 from lane bryan. All I can say is that you will see overall improved health and perhaps many years added to your life. \n

My husband has recently been diagonosed with borderline diabetes, and high blood pressure. We need to change the way we're eating and eat healthier.

Over the last 4 years, I've pursued a healthier diet and life style. The more I read on nutrition and processed foods, the more I'm convinced that food that is closest to its natural state is the best. \nI personally grind wheat to make the flour to make the bread. I also use whole oat groats for the most nutritious oatmeal I can get. Overall my diet resulted in a considerable loss of weight and no more food cravings, which for me is paramount. \nChanging your diet and your thinking about your diet, is an evolutionary process; it just doesn't happen overnight. \nSo if you're trying to lose weight and eat better, take one step at a time. Just like eating a large piece of meat, you've got to cut it up in little bitty pieces first.\n
