An Oklahoma City native, Dr. Shahnawa Ijaz earned his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Board-certified, Dr. Ijaz’s clinical interests vary from advanced symptom management, such as cancer-related pain, to goal-oriented care to counseling patients dealing with complex medical decisions.“My goal is to walk with patients and their families to provide peace and fulfillment on their journeys with serious illness.
