Dr. Kalyani R Trivedi is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist at Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York and the director of the WCM pediatric cardiology ambulatory program.Dr. Trivedi earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in 1985 and a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1989 from Gujarat University. She undertook general professional training in Pediatrics and Specialist training in Pediatric Cardiology in United Kingdom earning a Diploma in Child Health and the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK. In United States, she completed pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, after which she completed pediatric cardiac interventional training at the University of Toronto and Stanford University.Subsequent to completion of her training, Dr. Trivedi has served as an attending pediatric cardiac interventionalist providing leadership as director of pediatric cardiac catheterization laboratory and during 2015 –2024 as division chief of pediatric cardiology. Over the last 6 years, before she joined the Weill Cornell Medical Center, she also served as director of a regional ambulatory cardiology program. Over the years she has acquired a wide breath of experience in a variety of health care settings.Dr.Trivedi’s work has appeared in several peer-reviewed journals, including Circulation Research, Catheterization & Cardiovascular Interventions, Congenital Heart Disease, Archives of Cardiovascular Disease, the Canadian Journal of Cardiology, the European Journal of Pediatrics, Cardiology in the Young, The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, and Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Therapy.
