Dr. Brian Carlsen, MD, is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with an added qualification in Hand Surgery. He is a consultant in both Orthopedic and Plastic Surgery. He specializes in the spectrum of upper limb and hand surgery including nerve, muscle, tendon and bone problems. He has special expertise in the microvascular reconstruction of the upper and lower extremities (arms and legs) after major trauma, cancer, or other problems. Dr. Carlsen is committed to helping his patients however possible, including non-surgical treatment. In addition to his surgical qualifications, he is also board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine, expertise that allows for care of the entire patient from a holistic perspective.
