Steven S. Tu, MD, earned his undergraduate degree with distinction from the University of California Berkeley, then went on to receive his medical doctorate from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. Dr Tu continued his training with an internship in internal medicine at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center followed by a residency in anesthesiology at UCLA Medical Center. Dr Tu has had experience with medical training abroad. In 2012, he travelled to Bangalore, India, to serve as an international medical student with Saint John’s Medical College.
