My approach to care centers on the phrase “Listen with the ear of your heart” from the Rule of Saint Benedict, which was instilled in me during nursing school. It is a beautiful passage that requires deeper listening, having empathy and being compassionate. My clinical interests include working with patients throughout their lifespan, health promotion and prevention of chronic diseases.
