Jeremy Irvan, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. He treats adults with peripheral artery disease, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysmal disease and varicose veins. He also assists with maintenance of arterial venous fistula. Dr Irvan earned his medical degree from The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After medical school, he completed a residency at The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He followed that with a fellowship in vascular surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. “I never expected to become a vascular surgeon,” he says. “I always thought I would be a family medicine doctor. It’s all I was exposed to growing up.
