“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is making patients feel better on a daily basis,” she says. “I have treated many patients who lived with chronic pain for years that see results after only a few adjustments. Being able to give them their life back relatively pain-free is truly rewarding.
“I like that being a chiropractor doesn’t mean that you are just a chiropractor. We are so much more than that. We teach patients like an educator. We listen to patients like a therapist. We demonstrate to patients like a personal trainer. There are so many aspects to this career it keeps you on your toes.”
She earned an associate degree in life science from San Jacinto College before attending Texas Chiropractic College, where she got a bachelor’s in human biology and a doctorate in chiropractic.
