An endocrinologist with 25 years’ experience in her field, Sabrina René, MD, helps diagnose and treat patients at City of Hope® Cancer Center Atlanta for a wide range of endocrine disorders, including thyroid cancer, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Although Dr René joined City of Hope on a full-time basis in January, 2025, she had previously spent a decade serving patients at our Georgia cancer center in the role of consultant. During that time, she also led several endocrinology practices in the state including her solo practice in 2003. Her expertise includes the use of thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle and aspirate biopsy to accurately diagnose conditions of the thyroid, including thyroid nodules.
