Honestly the worst dr visit ever. I was diagnosed with an avm. They wanted dr. Yashar to assist, and I had an appointment in his office. When I walked in, I was given dirty looks and I wasn’t attended to until another woman finally noticed me sitting down. She was wearing skin-tight black jeans, stiletto heels, and a white silk blouse open at the chest. Her hair was platinum blonde and in the style of Ariana Grande. If I wasn’t in a neurosurgeon’s office, I would’ve sworn I was at Academy LA. She wasn’t polite, no one was. The office looks like a plastic surgeon’s office. It is cold and beautiful with marble and crystal chandeliers. Here I am worrying about my impending brain surgery and I’m given dirty looks and an attitude. I left without thinking anything would be ok. He did not reassure me. He told me in cold detail all of the possible outcomes of my surgery. The nail in the coffin for me was when he said,” hopefully everything works well, and you won’t need to goto rehab”. He was so matter of fact, that it threw me off. I was left with the feeling that he did not care. It ended up that my avm is not operable and I won’t be having surgery. MyEOB came in, and he tried to bill the insurance $1500 for what has to be the absolute worst doctor’s visit ever. I highly recommend another neurosurgeon. One that actually cares about whether or not you die would be better than this guy.
