Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

When I first started learning about the specialty it was underappreciated with many open research areas, and “endoscopy” was somewhat new and exciting.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

Biliary and pancreatic pathology and peptide related syndromes.

Undergrad: Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina, Medical School: State University of New York, New York Medical College, Residency: University of Rochester, New York, Fellowship: National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD.

What certifications do you hold?

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?

Family time, reading, yoga, fly fishing, photograph, painting and beach time.

Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and Member The New York Academy of Sciences.
