Dr. Zolnick saw me when I was 6 weeks pregnant in 2006. I was a new patient to the practice and had made a quick appointment because my regular doctor's office (a completely different practice) couldn't get me in. I was having pelvic pain and was worried there was a problem with the pregnancy. Dr. Zolnick welcomed me, and had me get an ultrasound on the premises. When I returned to his office to discuss everything, he viewed my ultrasound and then proceeded to give me a due date and tell me everything was fine. One week later I was bleeding and cramping, got in to see another doctor at his practice, and was informed by the ultrasound tech that I had a "blighted ovum" which they had suspected at my first visit. I was miscarrying. I was livid because Dr. Zolnick never informed me that there was anything to be worried about - in fact, he made me feel at ease about my fears. I should have been told at the first ultrasound that there was a possibility of a blighted ovum but that we'd keep an eye on it. Not assured that all was well and sent home to plan for a baby due in January. Other problems with other doctors in the practice also arose. I have not and will not be paying them a dime for their services, and I really should have filed malpractice suits.
