George Han
George Han, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell. He serves as Director of Clinical Trials, Director of Teledermatology, and Director of Patient Experience and Quality in the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Han is the current Vice President of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, a member of the board of directors of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, an associate of the Internaional Eczema Council, and a member of the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation.Prior to joining Northwell, Dr. Han served as Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel for several years and subsequently, System Medical Director for Dermatology and Chief of Teledermatology at the Mount Sinai Health System. Dr. Han is a nationally-recognized lecturer and researcher in numerous areas including atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and teledermatology. He remains active in both basic science research and clinical trials, serving as Principal Investigator and International Coordinating Investigator for numerous studies encompassing clinical areas such as Psoriasis, Atopic Dermatitis, Vitiligo, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and Actinic Keratosis. To date, Dr. Han has over 60 publications in well-respected journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, the British Journal of Dermatology, Clinical Immunology, the Journal of Infectious Diseases, and the American Journal of Pathology, as well as numerous book chapters and patents. He is on the editorial board of numerous prominent dermatology journals.Services
