Dr. Dalton and his staff seemed knowledgeable and nice. What they don't tell you until the end of the visit is that the treatment plan will cost several thousand dollars which you have to pay out of your pocket because most insurance companies have a TMJ exclusion. I took my treatment plan to my regular dentist, he fitted me for a mouth guard to sleep in, gave me muscle relaxers to get everything calmed down. Between that and a lot of prayer I am now pain free and it cost me $350.00. There are exercises you can learn for TMJ from U tube that also helps. Another patient came into my dentist office the very next day with the same treatment plan from Dr. Dalton right down to tongue clipping. I got 3 second opinions and each one stated I did not need tongue clipping. Be aware.
