Cardiothoracic surgeon John Puskas, MD, is internationally recognized for his expertise in off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery and has performed more than 5,000 surgeries since 1996. In addition to heart bypass surgery, Dr. Puskas performs aortic valve replacement and robotic and minimally invasive heart procedures. Dr. Puskas is Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mount Sinai Morningside, Mount Sinai Downtown, and Mount Sinai West and Director of Surgical Coronary Revascularization for the Mount Sinai Health System.
