I spend most of my time caring for people with heart valves that are not working well. When needed, I fix them through small tubes (catheters) placed in a blood vessel. In the setting of more choices than ever before, I am committed to ensuring the patient’s voice is heard and respected.
As part of a larger group of leaders, we strive to understand how best to put patients’ goals and preferences in the center of our decision making.
I am grateful for our fantastic referring clinicians. I love serving as a resource for them at any time, improving access to care and thoughtful decision making with a personal touch.

I am part of a team that works hard to make sure Dartmouth-Hitchcock is up to date on new, state-of-the-art care. We provide alternatives to surgery for the treatment of heart disease. We also help advance the science of how best to make decisions together with our patients.I spend most of my time caring for people with heart valves that are not working well.
