Services IFC therapists use empathy and respect to help individuals navigate a variety of life situations. We believe that children and adolescents do better when they are able to strengthen relationships within their family and school so we works to help children strengthen these connections to their support systems. We are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Theraplay, Play Therapy and are able to adapt this treatment model to meet the needs of our young clients.

I had been feeling completely overwhelmed with my daughter's behavior and had felt like I tried EVERYTHING to get her to listen to me, but nothing was working. Everything was such a battle from getting ready in the morning to getting her to bed at night. My pediatrician recommended IFC and the intake coordinator at IFC matched us with Sherry. I noticed a difference in my daughter (and myself!) after only a few sessions. IFC really encourages the parents to be part of the therapy process and I learned so much from the therapist's feedback that made me an even better parent. Our home is so much more peaceful now, mornings go more smoothly and I no longer feel like I am yelling all the time. I am so grateful to IFC and the work that they do.
