I'm concerned now. What about HIPAA? And she's not a psychiatrist. she should have referred you to mental health if she was so concerned. If the police were notified and they didn't respond, why did she call your job? Once she called the police, she had no liability. She didn't listen to you! If you're Latina, I know you were venting!

Be careful what you tell this doctor about being stressed at work because she will call the police on you instead of asking more probing questions to make sure you're doing fine and then breech confidentiality by not only calling the police but calling your boss at your job!
