PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy as an LMFT is that your life’s story, however written, is not etched in granite but has the potential to be edited, re-written, modified so that the moral and end of each person's story can reflect the ending that you can only sometimes imagine.
METHODS
My methods include the use of Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Narrative Therapy. My training began early from my supervisor who received his mentoring from Carl Rodgers.
EXPERIENCE
As a Marriage & Family Therapist I look to my past twenty-five years to help potential clients feel comfortable choosing me to support their journey through life’s many challenges. My journey began not in the field of psychology but as a Marine Corps officer serving my country for over twenty years. As one might imagine a service member can experience many life times of self and those around him (her) in a military career.
PASSION
My passion is working with individuals, couples, families and teenagers to understand, assess and work together to discover solutions and paths to all of life’s many emotional challenges. I want to help everyone realize their own personal vision of joy, peace and balance and together find the path to achieving that dream.
