I have been going to Optical East for many years. Dr. Rakowsky performs the most thorough eye exam that I have experienced in all the decades that I have been wearing eyeglasses. Over the years on a few occasions, I have tried other Optometrists and was rushed in and out for my eye exam. This year I went to Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center and their doctor did not give me the correct prescription. They told me that I had Glaucoma in my right eye, and they could only correct it to 20/30, and that my left eye did not have Glaucoma and could be corrected to 20/20. I then went to Dr. Rakowsky at Optical East for a second opinion. Dr. Rakowsky told me that I had Glaucoma in both eyes, and that he could correct both eyes to 20/20! I purchased my glasses there and now I can once again see great! I have definitely learned my lesson NOT to go anywhere else but Optical East and have Dr. Rakowsky examines my eyes because (NO ONE) does as thorough a job as he does that I have ever used in my entire life!
