Amy is a passionate counselor believing positive change is possible at any stage in life. Her approach to therapy offers clients more than just short-term solutions to individual and relational issues. Amy utilizes Interventions including: Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotional-Freedom Technique (EFT), Matrix Reimprinting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanism, Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness (including meditation, guided visualization, and relaxation), Play Therapy, and Supportive Therapy. Experiential techniques are used to bridge the gap between the problem-solving part of our brains and the intuitive, emotional part in order to identify the sources of issues, and develop new patterns and skills for handling them.
