North Royalton Chamber of Commerce About Dr. Patrick McCluskey Dr. Patrick McCluskey grew up in Davenport, Iowa, where Daniel David Palmer gave the first chiropractic adjustment over a hundred years ago. He even kept a brick from the building where it happened, a symbolic gesture of personal commitment to his chosen profession. During his formative years in Davenport, Dr. McCluskey came in contact with Palmer graduates and students who influenced him toward a holistic lifestyle, which he practices and passes along to his patients today. INJURY RECOVERY After receiving his Bachelor of Science and doctorate in chiropractic from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. McCluskey went on to attain post-doctorate board certification as a chiropractic sports physician, a distinction reserved only for those highly qualified to treat a wide range of sports and personal injuries. Many injuries benefit from physical rehabilitation and massage. Dr. McCluskey has a rehab department and state licensed/ BWC certified massage therapists on staff to speed recovery and return strength and function to the injured area, to lessen scar tissue, and help resolve tough cases. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TRUST Dr. McCluskey is dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advances in his field. He invests many hours each year (twice the requirements) attending postgraduate seminars to provide his patients with the best treatment methods available. Dr. McCluskey is one of only nine chiropractors in the Cleveland area that are members of the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Physician Organization. Dr. McCluskey is distinguished by more than his exceptional educational background and commitment to providing the best treatments. Over the years, he has helped thousands of people find lasting relief and enduring wellness. My goal is to provide quick pain relief and promote optimal health. I have made a conscious effort to acquire the advanced training and resources to speed the recovery process, to make a big, positive impact on a patients health in a brief time frame.

As I have moved around the Cleveland area, I have been to about three other chiropractors. Thus far, I am very disappointed compared to my other chiropractors. Although Dr. McCluskey has a long list of professional affiliations, I don't believe this is reflected in his patient practice. After my initial visit, Dr. McCluskey has said no more than about a dozen words to me at any single visit. Someone throws and ice or heat pack on me and then everyone in the room is lined up on treatment tables like cattle. He comes in and ask you how you are doing while you are face is down on the table, I don't care to discuss my medical issues in front of other people!. Although I don't mind having an ice pack or heat applied with other people around, I have never had a chiropractor do the actual treatment in front of a room full of people. Although I check two places on the sheet when I came in indicating where I have had pain, only one area has been addressed. All the treatment I received for the second area consisted of an ice pack (I could do that at home). Also, when I asked for more definition of my main problem, I was brushed off like I was too stupid to understand any medical explanation. I have never received any treatment other than the activator and not even tens treatment or even massage mentioned. My treatment, other than an ice pack or heat, after the initial visit, amount to no more than 5 minutes. I do not intend to continue with this chiropractor and I feel cheated.
