Dr. Berkoff believes that a thorough evaluation and correct diagnosis starts the process of cure moving in the right direction and spends an hour with each new patient. Follow-up appointments are 20 minutes of one-on-one time with the doctor. We try to run on-time and ask that you try to show up about 5 minutes before you appointment time. It is important to us that we maintain an efficient schedule so as not to throw off your schedule.
About Dr. Berkoff:
Dr. Berkoff has worked at Sharp Hospital where he helped develop protocols for the Sharp Pain Program. He is a researcher and has published papers in major academic journals. He is a member of the Hubbard Foundation Science Board and is conducting research on neuro-vascular decompression for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Berkoff is a triathlete and understands the special needs of athletes.

Dr. Berkoff graduated from The State University of New York at Albany and The National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, where he was awarded the college’s Outstanding Graduate Award. He has bachelors degrees in English, History, and Human Biology, and participated in a three year residency program in Neurology. He has authored scientific papers published in major peer-reviewed medical journals and is the co-author of a textbook on the diagnosis and treatment of musculo-skeletal pain used in medical and chiropractic schools across the country.
Certification
Dr. Berkoff is certified in Active Release Treatment (A.R.T.), Dynamic Spinal Stretching (Stick Stretching), and in myofascial release therapy (spray and stretch), and has been trained by the pioneers of both of those techniques.
