Pharmacy compounding is the art and science of preparing customized medications for patients. Its practice dates back to the origins of pharmacy; yet, compoundings presence in the pharmacy profession has changed over the years.
Bio-Identical (Natural) Hormones At Innovative Compounding Pharmacy, our compounding pharmacists are meeting the needs of peri-menopausal and menopausal women and men (Andropause) by use of bio-identical hormones. These hormones are appealing to patients because they help to mend a hormonal imbalance with hormones that are identical to those produced in the human body.
Our compounding pharmacist can tailor a hormone regimen, which mimics what a females body has been doing for the past 50 years or so. All women are not the same; therefore, our compounding pharmacist can add value by preparing the medication to fit the patient with the appropriate dosage strength and form.
Pediatric Medications Children are often the types of patients who benefit most from compounding.
Often, parents have a tough time getting their children to take medicine because of the taste.
At Innovative Compounding Pharmacy, our compounding pharmacist can work directly with the physician and the patient to select a flavoring agent, such as vanilla butternut or tutti frutti, which provides both an appropriate match for the medications properties and the patients taste preferences.
Veterinary Medications Customized Veterinary Compounding Needs Pharmacists & Veterinarians working together to improve and maximize the therapeutic success and compliance of pets, exotics, wildlife, zoo animals, large & small animals, (and reduce the overall cost of animal care).
Totally satisfied with the level of service and consultation. Staff very professional and friendly. My Shi Tzu has chronic dry eye and requires daily eye drops which I get monthly. Ive used other Compounding Pharmacies and I can honestly say this pharmacy is far superior!
Terrible service. My prescription was supposed to be ready for pick-up in the morning. When I arrived at 12:30 it was not ready yet. The pharmacist was sitting in his office chatting with someone and casually told me to come back in an hour. When I returned at 1:30 the pharmacist was still in his office chatting and had forgotten to work on my prescription. I was told it would take 20 minutes to complete. I left and returned 30 minutes later. The assistant girl was nice and friendly and apologized on the pharmacist's behalf but the pharmacist was in his office with the door closed this time and didn't bother to say anything to me. Terrible customer service.
