After several years of taking my cat to this office to a particular vet, she left and I had to take my cat in to see the new vets who acted like they didn't realized he had a file with them and that anything I suggested that could be the matter with my cat wasn't true. I paid well each visit which was around five this summer, but each time I was told that my cat wasn't anemic. But on the last visit to the other vet of the two this vet said that he was terribly anemic and then with in a couple of days my cat died after bringing him to this office for around two months in ample time to treat his anemia with blood transfusions and hospitalization. He was allergic to fleas and I had moved into a RV with an uncontrollable flea infestation, but had gotten another place to move and needed my cat taken care of while I moved us They lied about him not having anemia which I know could have been treated. The flea infestation was treated over and over, but only became bad in the late summers when he would become sick from living in the rv I bought. We were moving. But now my precious beyond belief little darling cat who I worked tirelessly trying to get rid of fleas for and find us a better place to live is dead because this vet office passed some kind of judgement on me and would not be truthful in treating my sweet little cat of nine years. If I were not taking care of him all those years and didn't have adequate means, a cat with that bad of flea allergies would have not made it that long. And it was that I had moved into an RV which had the hinge gaps in the floors that let in Florida's mutant fleas. I have cats who lived 17 to 18 yo even with chronic health problems, so I know that these people tried to charge me for many unnecessary services and would not treat what eventually killed my cat who I loved with all my heart and soul. They may have been judging me on that I am disabled and may have appeared not to have had means and had to be careful of my money, but I always had money to pay them for any service or product they rendered. I usually paid upwards of $110 plus each visit. So they kind of conveniently adhered to their beliefs no matter if I said I have six hundred dollars in the bank that I can use for his care. No I was less than them they made a pronounced display of their befief in their financial superiority to the point of killing my darling, baby cat who I loved more than life itself. No matter how this bunch of sweet talkers rebuff what I'm saying, it's true. And my cat was treatable. I have had several cats who lived very long lives with severe health problems. No cat is like another, so to ever replace him or to have the years I could have had with him is impossible. So all I can do is tell you not to do business with these people because they would hurt a disabled lady with no family (as they knew) like me. He was all I had that made me feel like life was worth living, but I was confused and emotional, so I trusted them and didn't think to go to another vet. But I checked prices on services I asked them to do and asked another vet office if they would have withheld treatment on the anemia, so they could have nickled and dimed me until my cat died and they said no and told me of their prices which all affordable for me. This other vet office I checked after Suncoast withheld treatment while I paid them well was not a charity vet office, but an equal competitor.
