If it were possible to give this office 0 Stars I would absolutely do it.

I am beyond Furious and disgusted with this office. And under no circumstances will i ever take my animals here. I will not recommend to anyone and I will do whatever I can to make sure no one I know ever attempt to go here.

This morning my cat decided to catch a wild animal. unfortunately by the time I had noticed that she was doing she she had already killed her pray and was removing the innards. Even worse the wild animal was pregnant. In attempts to save the lives of The Unborn baby animals, i removed them from the mother and place them in a shoe box with a heating pad and blankets. Being new to the area I had no idea who I could call to give me any information on how to care for or give me any information on what to do with the babies. Thus after Google search I attempted to contact the vet at Mountainview Animal Hospital.

His secretary or receptionist was disgustingly unprofessional and ferociously rude. I simply asked to speak to a vet tech or the veterinarian because I had an emergency. After arguing with me for several minutes I was told that I had to tell her exactly what the problem was and she would relay it to the doctor if it was a true emergency. After telling her exactly what had happened this morning with my cat and the fact that I am now holding three newborn wild animals and needed information on how to care for them or where I can bring them to make sure that they are properly cared for I was met with atrocious remarks. I was told it was not an emergency that she will relay the message to the doctor when he was free which would likely be at the end of the day. I then responded that that was not appropriate and I needed information now so that I can do whatever I could to make sure that they were safe and healthy. She then commented that they were wild animals and not my pet so therefore I should not even worry about them.

I was not transfered to the veterinarian or even a tech.

After speaking with his secretary or receptionist I am left feeling sad. I feel for the woman to speak to me in the manner that she had, saying the remarks that she did, I feel it's acceptable in her environment to feel that she can make decisions as to whether or not an animal's life is worth saving. I am honestly saying I would be petrified to bring my animals there because if the front face of a business can act the way that she did, I'm scared to know how the doctor is!

I am pleading with Columbia County to not consider bringing your animals here for their own safety and your own sanity.

I am very very happy to say that I was able to find by the grace of God they wildlife center that is awesome local that was able to give me all of the information I needed for these babies.

It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. I eventually found a spot after cruising around a little bit. I wish they had more convenient parking available. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily.
