It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. I felt much more comfortable in their office when I noticed how clean it was. I can get sick kind of easily sometimes, so it was nice to see that they took the time to regularly clean and sterilize their office.

It is some years since I visited a therapist at this establishment. Initially she was helpful but she did not listen to me to get my backstory and in a misguided attempt to help me sent me for a meeting with a friend of hers who worked for a retail chain. I have a strong career background and two Masters degrees. I have spent my life in my career but at that time was not working. I agreed to meet the friend who handed me an application form which asked the most insulting questions regarding drug offences, drug taking and prison time. I was appalled, insulted and my whole psyche was shaken. This woman demanded I put down my social security number. it was the most degrading experience. I did not return to the therapist as she had no idea who she was dealing with. I returned to my career and regained my confidence but am forever shaken by this experience. What right had the therapist to assume I was an entry level employee and make me endure something which undermined any good work she may have done. I made myself better and am no longer depressed. Before recommending anything to patients, therapists must know the depth of the person with whom they are working and not assume anything at all. As a professional myself I would never attempt to counsel or teach someone without being aware of their prior knowledge or background.
