WISH ZERO STARS WAS AN OPTION!!!!
If you truly need help-avoid Jackie Reckas!! She came highly recommended by another therapist.
Here is a very sad but true experience from someone who is supposed to be a "caring professional". I contacted Jackie regarding a family (a child) who has experienced MULTIPLE TRAUMAS (DEATHS of mother, father, brother and grandmother).Child lost 4 immediate family members in 5 years beginning with the MOTHER at AGE 4. I called Jackie and spoke with her and she talked with me about her experience in grief therapy etc. She also agreed to sign up with my insurance Value Options as a single case provider IF I sought all the approvals. I contacted my insurance and was initially turned down as they stated they had a contracted provider in Fremont. Due to distance, Jackie's "supposed" expertise and her "willingness" to sign up with my insurance and help this very injured child begin his journey to healing, I literally spent hours on the phone with my insurance company to get approval for him to see Jackie.The insurance company finally did approve Jackie. I contacted Jackie and left voicemail messages on both her office 925 426 9182 and cell phone number 925 216 3433 advising her of the approval and that they needed to speak with her. I left her contact info and name of person at the insurance company. I was contacted by the insurance two more times advising me that they had not heard back from Jackie. I again left messages and on another occasion did reach her and she stated she would be contacting them. Well, she never did, in spite of additional calls, conversations and promises and voicemails.
Needless to say, my efforts and hopes of getting him into counseling with her were a waste of time. SHE NEVER CONTACTED THE INSURANCE COMPANY OR ME.

JACKIE IS UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST, AND A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!
I AM ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED THAT THIS WOMAN IS A THERAPIST!!! HER LACK OF ETHICS AND DISHONESTY IS APPALLING!!!

IF THIS REVIEW SOUNDS ANGRY- YES I SURE AM- YOU DON'T LIE OR MESS WITH THE EMOTIONS OF CHILDREN ESPECIALLY ONES WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED SUCH SEVERE TRAUMA.

JACKIE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!
