BEWARE AND STAY AWAY! If it would've allowed me to leave negative stars then it would've been -100 stars. It wouldn't allow me to write a review for a specific therapist, but to be clear, I am speaking of one specific "therapist" person here. I wanted to warn people so that they didn't allow their kids to be corrupted as this lady has done. She is very big on favoritism and seems to have a sexist attitude in that she will side with the mom on everything, even lie to try to make it look like she isn't doing anything. She claims to be focused on the kid involved, but yet when the kid said he had to go to the bathroom, she told him to hold it and wouldn't allow him to go. He mentioned to her that he really couldn't and she ignored him and kept talking. 6+ sessions in, she is still talking with the child about the parents breaking up and asking him if he thinks he has caused it. Keep in mind that the kid has NEVER once mentioned anything about that or brought it up or showed any signs of issues with this. She uses leading questions with a 4 year old and encourages open discussion about negative things in front of him. She even allows one of the parents, of course it is the one that favoritism is shown towards, to get upset and start crying and raise their voice in front of the child. She told me, the dad, that she would have to have both parents sign consent before she could release information to me but the mom can call up there and get information from a session that took place with just me and this "therapist". I never gave consent for it. We have 50/50 joint custody and shouldn't need the other parent's consent for the records. This "therapist" says that she never told me that or talked to me about that. Really? Too bad I have it saved in a voicemail where she clearly says two times that I couldn't get the records until both parents signed consent for it. So as she was trying to sit there and make me our to be a liar in front of my son, she is the one that's telling lies. If that wasn't bad enough, when I left the room after getting tired of hearing a "therapist" lie repeatedly because she is too stuck in her own world, she told the mom that she didn't see any reason why I would be upset that she gave her that information. Really? I mean come on now. And if that wasn't bad enough, this "therapist" put a 4 year old in the hallway of the place with a bucket of toys and then closed the door with him out there. When I was asked if it was ok with me, my response was "No, not really." But of course my opinion doesn't matter and she closed the door on him. The list can go on and on about this so feel free to email if you want me to show you the facts I have regarding this post. If your children are attending here now, I would be very very cautious especially if you are separated family and dealing with this so called "therapist".
