Falls asleep in session. Frequently shorts session time on both ends. No clear structure or treatment plan. Gives thoughtless/insensitive/cookie cutter advice. No apparent skills or interest in helping clients with complex histories, and not enough ethics to refer those cases out to a more skilled practitioner. Saw her for a couple years at a very vulnerable point in my life when I didn't "know better" emotionally; it took hindsight to realize how bad my experience was. She wasn't evil per se, just an absolute waste of time and money. It's been a few years so I hope by now she at least takes credit cards.

Referred for couples counseling to process multiple miscarriages and failed fertility treatments. We arrived and the room was filled with toys even though we were clear about what we were referred for. We have no children. It was triggering to say the least. After the session we decided she was not a good fit for us as a couple but I encouraged my partner to return for individual counseling because I found her to be kind to my partner. Four private sessions later and my partner is more confused than ever. Our marriage is now in need of repair due to her lack of guidance. She knew I was willing to talk. Even surrounded by toys, I shared our stories of loss, trying to catch her up. Instead of helping my partner communicate with me, by asking me to come back in, she began helping my partner leave our 16 year relationship and 12 year marriage. After being in our lives for only a month.
