Angela, Alicia and Tina are great! They have huge hearts for the animals they treat, and are always happy to be able to help out. I know i can depend on them to treat my pets as if they were their own.

Some of you may remember that my dog Trixi was hosp @ UT Tenn for a vets misdiagnosis. A vet that has cared for my my dogs for 10yrs. Trixi was seriously dehydrated, vomiting, drinking excessive amts of water all wkend. Mon I took her to said vet and she looked at her said bring her bac...k 2morro if shes still sic. Tues, gives shot of penicillin, bag fluid, said bring her back still sic. Wed gave her shot. bag fluid, took blood (finally). Thur called me "we have bad news bring ur dog" Goy 2 her office " Trixi lookd like Trixi is going n2 Renal Failuire. I ask "What can I do" Im told"Nothing, just make her comfortable". No offer of more tests of any kind, no offer 2 take her 2 another hosp that specializes in animals. I MADE THAT DECISION!!! I said "call UT" as soon as I said that I was told "Oh yeah, they may be able to do something, but they're expensive "???? (this from a vet) I ahve never not pd my vet bill n full and thats for 2 dogs and any surgeries She called UT Tenn 4 me and faxed then Trixi's paperwk (what they saw was not Renal Faiilure). My stepdaughter drove me 2 Tenn and they saw her, took tests, kept her 4 a week. I was told 2 my face and on her chart that Trixi NEVER had Renal Failure, she had a bacterial nfection that had traveled through her blood 2 her bladder and becuse she was not kept and given fluids earlier that she developed gadstric ulcers that require her 2 be on a special diet the rest of her life. This cost $2000 not 2 mention she was on on a 7 wk course of medicine taking a total of 10 different meds, and the physical and mental pain she suffered. We all suffered. I gfot bot dogs 2 a another vet, (I did my homework on this) Well wks ago, Trixi starts limping. I was told both ACL r broke n2 (again I showed thid to her prior vet and asked what could we do, was told "a diet would help), no offer of pain meds, nothing!) Trixi can not walk on her et leg @ all and bcause she has put most wgt on lft leg, this leg 2 shall have 2 b operated on. This is another $3400. Trixi had what they call cherry pits (produses tears) taken out of both eyes (again from prior vet), I asked" Does she need anything special 4 her eyes", I was told " Oh, just use Real Tears, Fake Tears, etc" Her eyes got worse and I told my mom about it, and she told me whay her vet gave her 2 use so I told my vet about it and got same vet 2 give me a script so I could order through 1-800- meds. Eyes much improved. Took Trixi to back 2 our new vet 2 wks ago and 2 1st it looked like dhe had ulcers on her eyes, Got meds went home. 2day her eyes were swelled shut. I called and took her back and looked 2 her chart from prior vet and yep u guessed it. That vet should have had Trixi on an ointment called Cyclesporine 2 help her produce tears. I had her on it but because both eyes had no dcts she needed the ointment and her prior vet should have know this. I called prior vets office2day 2 talk 2 her but she was out, I xplained 2 her asst what had transpired and that I was tired of being nice. I went2 prior vets office a wk ago and told her everything an that I felt she owed some responsibility 2 what has happened 2 Trixi as she was under her care for 10 1/2yrs. All she kept saying was I'm sorry, I didn't know" I told her I was trying 2 stay calm an do the christian thing, but that I wanted her 2 go home and really think about what has happened with Trixi and what she felt her responsibility was. She looked me in theeye and said"Okay". I have not heard one word from this vet as of 2day. 2day I got really mad and let loose. I hope and pray that when this vet sees me, SHE RUNS!! She had better turn around and walk the other way because I can no longer hold back my anger nor do I want to. My dog has suffered and its all coming out. Everything she did and didnt do is on her charts which I have a copy of. I have UT's comments, and my new vets comments all on file. Lucky Lucky me. I would not send my worst enemy to this vet.
