I had a good experience here considering the circumstances. It was after midnight and a car had hit my baby Ginger. We drove her to West Monroe because there is no emergency facility in Monroe. I was upset and crying when we arrived. The staff was kind, greeted us upon arrival and immediately took Ginger for examination while I filled out her paperwork. The Dr. came out shortly and explained her injuries and was very patient with me while explaining our options and her chances of recovery. We were not able to save her, but the staff was caring and allowed me to stay with my little one and say goodbye. On the business end, the staff was very clear ahead of time about the $90 charge just to bring her in. Then as the examination continued, they let me know the cost of proceedures and asked for my "go ahead" before proceeding. There were no hidden charges. I am sorry to read that others have had a bad experience. For me, they were wonderful and if I were to need emergency vet services again, I would immediately go there again. I am very greatful that they are there and serving our community.
Dr. Franklin took the time to explain what exactly was wrong with our Dachshund, Gumbo..and went over the options available to treat him....very kind and considerate....even though it was late when I called, Adam was very helpful and professional....both of them couldn't have been nicer and put my mind at ease
