I have been taking family pets to this place since 1995. The staff have always been friendly. But I have to file a complaint similar to the one above. recently brought my dog here due to broken nails/avulsion to be repaired, in addition to his annual boosters. I understood he would have to be sedated and the edge of the nail bed would be cauterized. When all was said and done, they did what the said except it appears they didn't cut all the nails down. I didn't think of it until 2 weeks later, took him to the dog park and lo and behold, one of the nails they didn't trim got torn. When I called to ask if I could bring him in again, was told $50 AGAIN just for another assessment; not taking into account I already paid them $78 to cauterize and trim (not including anesthesia and reversal agents) all the nails, which is what I asked initially.

I don't think it's right they would charge more for something they failed to do the first time I asked; and that they already had charged me for.

They waited until I took off work and drove 15 miles in bumper to bumper traffic (in the opposite direction from my home) to tell me when I arrived that there was a complication and needed to keep my pet overnight. I was told that the complication was discovered right after they called me earlier that day to tell me I could pick him up that afternoon. Why didn't they call back? I asked how much it would cost and was only told, "not much." But it was! They didn't trim his nails even though when I asked them to they told me they ALWAYS do that anyway. On my previous visit for another animal, I was quoted a price of $85 which included everything. I was then charged over $200 and told that nobody had ever quoted me a price. Two visits. Two BAD experiences. NEVER AGAIN!
