My first visit to Liberty Medical Specialties, Morehead City, was in late July '23 when I accompanied my husband to pick up his new CPAP. I noticed an announcement for a free leg vein procedure that interested me as I have edema and wear compression stockings. On August 3, staff member Rose conducted the exam in a cordial and competent manner. Results verified I would benefit from continued use of compression stockings. Hence, I ordered a pair of Couture open-toe stockings after discussing options with Rose. Jennifer placed my order using the 10% discount as a courtesy to my pocketbook.. I picked up the stockings less than a week later. I AM DELIGHTED WITH THESE STOCKINGS! COUTURE HAS PRODUCED A REMARKABLE PRODUCT THAT IS THE EASIEST COMPRESSION STOCKING TO PUT ON, AND THE MOST COMFORTABLE.I HAVE WORN. NO PINCHING ALONG MY LEG OR FOOT. NO STRUGGLES FIGHTING TO PUT ON THESE STOCKINGS!! I HAVE NEUROPATHY IN MY FEET. I AM GLAD TO REPORT THE COUTURE STOCKINGS HAVE HELPED WITH THE PAIN IN MY TOES AND FOOT SINCE WEARING THEM. MY EDEMA SEEMS TO BE AT A LOWER LEVEL. JENNIFER CONFIRMED THAT ROSE'S ANNOUNCEMENT OF COUTURE MANUFACTURING STOCKINGS IN VARIOUS COLORS AND DESIGNS WAS A FACT. BUT,THEY WOULD NOT BE OPEN-TOED. DUE TO MY NEUROPATHY, OPEN-TOE STOCKINGS OFFER THE BEST COMFORT LEVEL FOR MY TOES/FEET. I WEAR A SPACER IN BETWEEN MY BIG AND SECOND RIGHT TOE DUE TO THE BEGINNING OF A BUNION. WHILE TOED STOCKINGS ARE WARMER FOR COOLER WEATHER, MY TOES MAY HURT AND SWELL DUE TO THE SPACER IF I WEAR AN ENCLOSED TOE. HOPEFULLY, COUTURE WILL CREATE DESIGNER OPEN-TOE STOCKINGS ALONG WITH THE ENCLOSED TOE ONES. I CONGRATULATE THIS NORTH CAROLINA (YAY!) PRODUCED PRODUCT. I THANK JENNIFER AND ROSE IN THE MOREHEAD CITY OFFICE FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY SERVICE. My only disappointment is that Medicare does not cover the cost of this most important doctor-prescribed product that brings me relief and is such a non-stressful stocking to put on! As a Senior citizen on a limited income, having Medicare cover the expense would have been welcomed. THANK YOU COUTURE, JENNIFER AND ROSE!!! . I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all. As of March 27,2012 The staff does not know how to run insurance claims, and have attempted to ask my family members and myself for cash up front, because of her lack of skill in her job profession, Unfortunately I have to continue to get our medical supplies here, the claims were worked out after the insurance company called and told her how to do her job ( no joke). However I HIGHLY recommend Liberty home health. ( the medical sister company, and they are the exact opposite of Liberty medical in skill and overall professionalism ) If you can find another place for medical supplies ...Go and get your supplies else where Liberty medical gets zero stars from me, it just wont register
