They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. I love Dr. Wicks and her staff. I have been going to Surf City Pet Hospital since they opened. I have 2 cats and 2 Dogs. Dr. Wicks has always been great with my animals and they love her. I have an older dog with a lot of health problems and Dr. Wicks and her staff has helped me so much with the care of my baby. If you want to see a Vet that really cares Surf City Pet Hospital is the place to go. Dr. Wicks will get down on the floor with your dogs and give them belly rubs. This is the best!

What a sad experience. I took my very healthy 10 year old dog in for relatively minor surgery on a Tuesday. I knew she was not recovering well and took her back to the clinic multiple times just to have them check her out. They would not return my calls some days and I just had to show up at the office. They had no problem taking payment for the surgery but I could not get the staff to let me speak with Dr Wick (who performed the surgery) for days. I finally saw her again the next Tuesday and was assured she was doing great and healing well. I asked for a referral to NC state Vet school. They told me this was not necessary as she was doing so well. I knew my dog was in trouble so I went to Wilmington Emergency and Trauma Hospital that night. They assured me she was gravely ill. We made it to NCS vet school Wednesday morning where we lost her. An operation is only as good as the post operative care you receive. We got very bad advice for the Drs as well as vet techs. Poor Poor care.I miss my sweet girl. Dead in eight days. Had she recognized the complication we may have had options. Shame on all of them for lazy, poor care. They should be so ashamed.
