I only gave one start because my pet did get vaccinated. However I call the day prior to taking my pet and got a price quote for vaccines and two tests. Upon checking out I was charged an additional 40.00 for an EXAM fee. DR. Revels did not examin my dog!!!! Other than taking her blood and administering the vaccine he didn't touch her. I called and questioned the charge and he said: "If I don't charge exam fees, I can't stay in business." Never mind the fact that HE DIDN'T GIVE MY DOG AN EXAM!!! I have a friend that took one of my other dogs for me while I was out of town. She called prior to going and got a price quote prior to going. On the phone call and at the office they asked if she wanted the pet to be examined. She said no and they did not charge her for an exam.... The difference between me and her is RACE... So yes it is my opinion that this office discriminates in pricing. I filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Office never responded to my complaint. I also disputed the charge with my credit card company. It is being investigated.... There are alot of good vets in the Alexandria/Pineville area. Don't waste your time going to the one that will charge you a fee for a service he did not provide because: "well, if he doen't charge you for that then he can't stay in business."
