I want everyone to know that Dr. Z (as we clients call her) is the real deal. She's the only Chiropractor in the area that uses a newer technique called Atlas Orthogonal or AO. This technique is really special and there's no neck cracking or back cracking. That's right - none. It's also noticeable after the first treatment, at least it was for me. I had tried another traditional Chiropractor for a couple of years and just saw no results at all. My back hurt with just silly stuff and I couldn't even walk for 5 minutes without needed a break. I play guitar in a band and I couldn't let this stop me from my love of music, plus my day job is as a computer tech and repairing hardware on most computers would really get my backing aching badly.

I had heard about Dr.Z at a networking function and was very intrigued with her style of practice. Boy, am I glad I did. My life has changed since that day. To describe how this works, I'll tell you in my layman's terms. The atlas bone is the bone that holds up your head. When it's out of wack, your whole back gets out of wack. Straighten that bone out and the rest of your back bones start straightening back up too. How does Dr. Z straighten the atlas bone you ask? You lie on this comfy table and rest your neck on this wedge. She then puts this "magic wand", as I call it, on a strategic place on your neck. Next thing is you just hear "click" but you don't feel anything at all. I mean nothing. That "magic wand" somehow sends a vibration through your neck that straightens out the crooked atlas bone.

I promise you, the first day she did this on me, I thought "Ok, ya got me this time. There's no way this could have done anything at all". I went home and later that night I felt my neck and back aching, but in a good way, like something that was squeezed got released, but the ached of the squeeze is what remained. It went away in a couple of days and I felt so much better. I wasn't totally cured over night, but the difference was very noticeable. I've been going about 5 months now and I'm astonished at the improvement. I still get the occasional back pain, but from the same things anyone else would get one, not abnormally. We've charted the healing process in my back and wow, I just can't believe it.

You can look up the Atlas Orthogonal technique on YouTube to see what it's about. There's a good video with Montel Williams using this and darn near taking all his painful MS symptoms away. I am extremely happy to have been introduced to this practitioner and she's as professional in the office as you could possibly ask for. If you're even slightly on the fence about her, give her two weeks and I guarantee you'll be better. Two thumbs WAY UP!

They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. It's always nice to have comfortable chairs to sit in while you are waiting to visit the chiropractor. I appreciate the fact that they invested in comfy chairs. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have.
