On January 2013 my family used the services of Vitas Innovative Hospice Care to provide hospice care for our dying mother. The plan was over sold and fell short on delivery. The lack of follow thru in paperwork resulted in nurses not reporting to check on our mother and an unscheduled last minute transport from the hospital to the care facility added more stress to an already stressful situation. There is more to the this story.....over all a very bad stressful experience.
