Dr. Todd A. Levenstien attended Binghamton University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biology. Dr. Levenstien received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the prestigious Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.Dr. Levenstien completed his internship residency training at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center. He underwent an intensive surgical residency-training program at the world-renowned Massachusetts General Hospital. Massachusetts General Hospital is an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. In the 2004 edition of U.S. News & World Report, Massachusetts General Hospital was ranked number three in the list of Best Hospitals in the United States of America. Dr. Levenstien’s hard work ethic, impressive surgical skills, and excellent rapport with the patients earned him the position of chief resident.Dr. Levenstien is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Levenstien has been surgically trained to treat all foot pathology. He treats all bone, joint, nerve and skin conditions. Dr. Levenstien specializes in foot reconstructive procedures, including but not limited to the following conditions: correction of bunion deformities, correction of hammertoe deformities, fracture reduction, treatment for infections, removal of skin lesions, removal of soft tissue mass, and reconstructive surgery for those with severe arthritis of the foot

I had my first appointment with Dr. Levenstien today in his Lindenhurst office. Never having had an appointment with a podiatrist before, I was very nervous and anxious. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The waiting room was clean and organized . After meeting Dr. Levenstien I felt as ease. The Dr. listened to what problem I was having with my foot. He carefully explained what was going on and why I was in pain. All my questions were answered completely, clearly and respectfully. Not for one moment did I feel rushed.I was pleased that Dr. Levenstien started with the less aggressive treatment instead of going directly to surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Levenstien to my friends and family. I wish I could give him more than five stars.

The best foot surgeon. He is very smart. Dr. Levenstien takes the time to fully explain the problem and discusses all treatment options. He attempts conservative treatment prior to surgery. I had seen many foot doctor who wanted to perform surgery on me the minute I stepped through the door. I feel that it is important to ask question about the foot problem, options, and even to ask the physician about his/her schooling and residency training. Dr. Levenstien was happy to answer all of my questions. When in came time for surgery, I felt confident in Dr. Levenstien abilities. The surgery went great and I refer him to all my friends. Thanks.
