I used to work there. Rather than my opinion I'll just give you facts. They knowingly hired a caregiver who freely admitted she had her children taken because she did nothing when her boyfriend held one child down while having another abuse them. A patient in her care then wound up with horrific bruises on her person. Another patient was left to battle a terrible fever without recieving proper care and died shortly thereafter. There is often 40 patients to one C.N.A. A blind women had her jewlery stolen. Abuse is rampant and even those caregivers who do do their jobs with proffessionalism and care are often subjected to apathy and hostility eventually causing them to leave the job.

Hell on earth. Was in there a few months ago for help walking. Not enough nurses and no knowledge about patient rights., They played so many games with my oxygen I almost died. They refused to keep it at the level the doctor ordered and I ended up in the Rome Hospital. I still have nightmares and wake up crying even tho I've been oCut of there for 6 months now,. Also they don't want to change your bed linen if it gets wet when you use the bedpan., Can'ttell you how many times I lay all night in a wet bed until change of shifts ... nobody comes when you ring the bell at night. Place should be closed. Not enough sheets or hospital gowns, 40 patients for every 2 nurses aides plus one nurse for the medical stuff. Stephan King would love the place.
