If I could rate this facility with less than 1 star, I would. I have a friend that has been a resident at this facility for about three years. The meals that are prepared for the residents of Pine Arbor are grossly lacking sufficient nutrients. For example, an evening meal that consists of a spoon each of green beans and pork-n-beans with a wiener and bun with a small glass of unsweetened tea. Another example of a meal was a slice of bread topped with a spoon of pork-n-beans with a side of green beans, no meat, with a small glass of unsweetened tea. If she receives fruit it is a Dole cup of fruit in juice, never fresh fruit. I am concerned about the health of the residents that live at Pine Arbor. One particular resident, that I don’t know, asked me if I would bring him a banana next time I come because he is hungry and wants a banana. Someone other than the Administrator of Pine Arbor, who is in authority over this facility, needs to be made aware of the nutritional value of what is being served at Pine Arbor in Silsbee, Texas. It would be sad to think that the Administrator of Pine Arbor would allow the Dietician of Pine Arbor to approve these malnutrition meals to be given to the residents on a daily basis. It is no wonder why the residents stay weak and sickly. People who are looking for a home for their loved one should be careful and take heed in knowing what their family member will be eating or not eating at Pine Arbor. Unless you can provide 3 meals a day for your loved one, I don’t recommend placing them there. I know that insurance and money is a huge factor in where you place your loved one. Something needs to be investigated about the dietary needs of the residents at Pine Arbor in Silsbee, Texas.

The staff is great about turning their phones off when they come into work. Their full attention is always on the patients. The staff was truly one of the best staffs I've ever seen. They genuinely care about everyone who visits. Their building was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. It was so nice to see them using the latest equipment. It made me have even more confidence in their abilities. I can't stop telling people about this place. I couldn't have had a better experience.

I had my grand father in this place and there are sweet people....... not only did my grandfather lived there ....I use to work there...... I love it so much when I left to go to Houston I still in the medical field but now im a full time firefighter
