Horrible place, my husband went in for therapy and for IV- Antibiotics to clear an infection after foot amputation and they stopped his meds w/o approval so my husband had to be rushed to hospital and have more of his leg amputated....they told him they never stopped that they had documented that it was being administered since day 2...but when he raised the roof everyone from administration was there after so many complaints that they never paid attention to my husband. ( and he is young he is not elderly where he cannot talk or to be taken advantage of ) He was sent to hospital and taken to surgery and had more of his foot removed... Very bad, horrible service if you love your family members DO NOT SEND THEM HERE !!!!!

My father was there for five days after having spinal surgery. As you enter this place it feels like you are in the 1960s insane asylum. The place is so depressing it is no wonder these patients and elderly become depressed. When we arrived with my father there was no friendly face to welcome us or let us know how they run the place. The room was dingy and dirty especially the rest room. My father had to share the room with another patient and there was only one restroom for both to share. Also, the food was disgusting that I don't think you would feed this to your pet. Half of the time we were trying to guess what my dad was eating. My father worked in construction for over 20 years of his life and this is what his hard earned money is paying for. We tried to get him a better rehab but medicare would not cover the skilled nursing services he was required. My mother was there everyday from morning to noon and she never saw the so called doctor. I think only once did she see the nurse practioner. What if we had a question? Were they checking how my dad was doing? Were they monitoring his health or just following the same medications from the hospital? Did they notice that after the 3rd day there my dad took a turn for the worse. Well, the final straw was when my mother and I arrived and my dad told us that some nurse hurt him. He could not tell us who it was but he said that he asked for help to get out of the bed and the idiot just grabbed his legs and jerked his legs down from the bed. My dad was in a lot of pain. DID SHE NOT KNOW THAT MY FATHER HAD SPINAL SURGERY AND NEEDED TO BE VERY CAREFUL. THIS IS NEGLIGENCE AND TOTAL STUPIDITY FROM THE NURSE. Did anyone call us to let us know? Of course not we had to hear it from my poor father. Thank god one of my sisters moved into action and had him removed from there as soon as possible. The people there did not hesitate to let him go it seemed like they were happy my father was leaving. I will be reporting this to as many agencies I can because the inhuman treatment there has to stop. IF THESE PEOPLE WORKING THERE DO NOT LIKE IT THEN GET ANOTHER JOB!!!! This is in memory of my father who passed away a week ago.
