Reflexology is based on the idea that there are points in your hands, feet and ears that correspond to your actual body's structure, organs, glands and systems. By gently working the reflex points, your body's overall health is uplifted. Reflex points relating to your current health issues are given extra attention. Many clients without specific health issues come for regular reflexology as preventative health care, to slow down and allow their bodies and minds to regain balance for daily living. The session in general is very relaxing and clients often drift off. Many reflexology sessions focus only on the feet, but I have been trained to also work the reflex points of the hands and ears. The majority of your session will, however, focus on the feet as they present higher sensitivity and greater area for touch responsiveness. They are a portal to the rest of your body.
