I made my yearly physical exam appointment a couple of months out. I went to the doctor expecting a physical exam, I fasted the day before, ate nothing in the morning and drank lots of water. I get to the examing room finding out that all this is, is a Wellness exam for Medicare and it is an alzheimer mental exam. I was refused a phyiscal exam unless I signed a release form and then was told by the doctor my insurance probably would not pay for it, I asked several times and several times the doctor asked me if I was willing to sign a release form. If I did my insurance probably would not pay for it. This person should be investigated. I am a 67 year old male and when this doctor gave me the prostate exam he had me bend over and lay my chest flat on the examing table arms up and out of the way spread my legs. The doctors rammed his finger in my anus forcing me onto my tip toes and eventually almost my whole body onto the examing table. I weight 227 lbs this is no easy feat. After about 15years as a steady loyal patient I will not be returning! My experience here was truly horrifying. The doctor wanted me to make another Appointment for the physical exam. Isn't an prostate exam physical??? This doctor should be investigated for the assault on me and am I the only patient this has happened to.
