His staff dictates the scheduling of appointments instead of accommodating my scheduling preferences. He doesn't take that extra step to make me feel like he recognizes me as an individual. I'm just another client to him. He isn't the absolute worst surgeon I've ever seen, but I certainly don't understand why he is so popular. I'm hoping I can find better care somewhere else. He and his staff don't try very hard to understand where I am coming from. I am hard of hearing, but instead of articulating better and speaking clearly to me, he and his staff treat me like I'm just old and confused and not capable of understanding, and they talk to my daughter instead of directly to me. Sometimes, I have to persuade him that I have an important concern that needs his attention. There have been times that he has paid attention to my concerns, but I have to work hard to get his attention. It takes a very long time - 4-5 weeks - to get test results and his own staff told me it takes them days after that to get the test results entered into their clients' records.

Both my wife and I were very impressed with Dr. Aronoff because of his caring and attention to detail. He spent so much time with us. He reminded me of the good old days when Drs spent time with patients and really cared to resolve problems. He is the best Dr I have seen in 30 years! ...They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it.
