The doctors especially Dr Rebecca Rizzo paid close attention to me and my son and all of my questions were answered. Their front desk staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. The office was easy enough to find.
The front desk staff is very rude and inconsiderate they make you feel unwelcomed. The older lady at the front desk is ok, its all the younger staff at the front. They act like we owe "Them" something. Very Very Rude and Unprofessional. I loved coming to this office. My son did too. It was this front desk staff that made me switch to another office. It is unfortunate that the owner of this business or Their Staffed Doctors don't realize how rude they are to the patients at the front. IF they would hire friendly front desk staff I would definitely return immediately. One more thing, there was one slight disagreement/incident with one of the DR's that returned my call on a Saturday. He wasnt my sons normal DR but he was answering calls that evening. He had a strong accent. He actually called me to argue with me about the after hours number I dialed. I told him it was on their voicemail. He insisted that it wasnt. I even told him that one of his Rude Front Staff had given it to me prior to that too. He was so upset raising his voice which made me upset of course. Because instead of him calling for my sons concerns or medical issue he went on scolding me about that call. Very Rude and Unexpected. Dr Rizzo never knew that happened because by Monday I had switched to another Dr. When that Dr did that to me with that call thats when I knew I had enough. No wonder the front desk staff gets away with murder in that office. Just to add my son was born with a medical condition called Spina Bifida, so not to make my son anymore important that any other patient, but when I have to take him to a Dr or call after hours is because his condition is crucial. I am not there or calling because he has a runny nose. Thats how the front staff made me feel and the DR that called me that one evening. I work full time/ plus overtime and I care for my son by myself which is also a full time job on its own, so I am considerate about any Dr or office staff that has to work hard too. I am not ashamed to admit that my son does receive full state insurance coverage also known as Traditional Medicaid, but their front desk would roll their eyes or slurr comments and smack their teeth as I would present them his insurance card. Hello, I work FT and attend night school PT and probably get paid more than the front desk. I pay taxes. I don't sit at home and expect for the Government to support me, just because my son was born with an illness or because I am a single parent. I work for a Government Agency I know better than that. Ignorant people like that pass judgement without even knowing the true facts. I would never treat anyone different in anyway no matter what because I dont walk in their shoes. If my Boss knew we mistreated our clients he would get rid of us. In our company we are not allowed to pass judgement on anyone, nor make faces nor give rude remarks and we assist the needy everyday MON-SAT 8AM TO 6PM!
