I would never recommend Villasenor to anyone. I think it's fine to be direct and clear about the downside of an illness however there is always hope, there is always an upside. A true physician would be compassionate and understanding of the family as well as the patient, and Dr. Villasenor is not this man nor in my opinon is a true physician.

A true physician would spend time with a patient, provide dietary programs, educational programs or at least refer his patients to good ones;he would insist on physical and occupational therapy after surgery. NOT THIS GUY!

I think he's a poor doctor and would never recommend him to anyone! I say this after 20 years of wittnessing his treatment of my parents! The staff is kind and my parents loved them. But as someone in the medical industry, if I lived in San Antonio, I would have forced them to go to someone else! Even my mother has now had enough of his attitude and behaviour. My father unfortunately is at death's door, and Villasenor has written him off. He's not in his corner. This is quite shocking after my father has been his patient for at least 20 years.

Perhpas Villasenor needs counseling or something to face death or to learn compassion and to believe in patients and to know the limits of his counsel.

If it were possible to give him -Starts I would!

They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer.
